I've posted yet some more unseen images in the 3D Gallery. This time we have a Bryce image of some Lokai warriors on a wall watching Shaps fly overhead. And another set of 3 images of a battle arena. Not much, but better than nothing right! Enjoy!

I have added another image to the 3D Gallery. The image shows another of the riches a Lokai stumbles across while exploring Atriana.

Although I haven't receieved any new content lately, it doesn't look like it will stop me from making the sparse update with new pictures. I was organizing my Atriarch folder today, downloading all the screenshots that I had not saved yet and stumbled across yet more images that I forget I ever made(and a couple I didn't!). Since these pictures don't actually fit any of the categories, I decided to change the Sketches category to 2D Art.

Now on to the good stuff! I have updated the 2D Art Gallery with FOUR new imagines that I found hidden away. These pictures are actually maps of the globe of Atriana, very cool looking I might add! Looks like something you might find in a geography building! Sadly, I can not give credit where it is due, because I can't for the life of me remember exactly who created these images! He did another image for me as well, but I will release that at a later time. In the mean time, go take a look.. and if you were the creator of these images, contact me, I'll remember the name as soon as I see it. =)

I know everyone else will agree that 8 months is way too long to add new content! I made a rendering some time ago, but recently discovered that I still had it backed up after I had reformatted my computer. I have two more scenes too, but I'll release them within the next few weeks with the Atriarch updates. Since the updates are weekly the APDT community has started to contribute to the forums very regularly now, hashing out ideas on terrain, bounties, grouping, medicines, buffs, diseases, and more! Click the Boards link on the left to access the forums which are located on Atriarch Watchers site. It's good to be back. =)

I almost forgot! Check out my scene in the 3D gallery(Lokai on a clift looking into the distance), it's the first one on the left! Enjoy.

Oh no! An update! Sorry, no new content today... but I'll bet I can dig some up if I go through my old backup CDs, I'm sure somebody sent me some images that never made it up. Yes... once again I deserve a beating =( But good news, I now have the web space to start a 3d object library, a 2d texture/image library would be cool as well if anyone's up for that. So, for now, let me know what kind of 3D programs you use... as for now I have bryce, lightwave, maya, and 3d studio max. Also if you have created any scenes send them along and we will get them posted and get you some Atriarch points. Use our message board to post any new ideas you have as well as what 3d programs you use, thanks guys!

I think it's time for a comeback! We have updated the board link so do your part to get some action going and start posting. We are looking for some new artwork so put your mouse to the test and show us what you've got! Atriarch points will be awarded for submissions(not just to the APDT, but anywhere), so don't hold back.

Yes, I deserve a beating for the lack of updates... but I'm back not only to tell you that there WILL be several updates to the galleries, but I'm also back to put up some lost art! No doubt most of you know Scrudge, one of the Atriarch communities finest artists, you can find his Atriarch Askew comics on Atriarch Watcher. While completely cleaning out the site and rearranging things I found some art that I didn't remember seeing in the galleries, so I took another look and realized it had been sitting there for over a year for nobody to see. So here it is! Yet another fantastic sketch by Scrudge that you can find in the Sketches Gallery. Enjoy!

I'm back for winter break, you know what that means! Time to get off the couch and start creating for everyone's favorite game, non other than Atriarch. To kick us out of hibernation DarkWolf has created the first Atriarch game called Wak-A-Eshlar, based off the ever popular Wak-A-Mole you can find in many arcades. I really got a kick out of it and highly recommend everyone give it a try.

We don't plan to stop there no sir. There is much more to come, I promise you. Check out the APDT Boards for more information on some of the projects you can get in on. If you have an idea but not sure how to make it come alive, leave a note and we will see if we can help. It's good to be back! =)

Think I lost an update from the move.. oh well! Your here now, and you want to see something right?!?! Luck you, you get to see FOUR things. Rajjin has sent me 4 brand spankin new pictures from his Atriarch movie. He hasn't worked on it for a while due to real life obligations. Still, these are professional quality shots, I cant even imagine how many hours he put into these. Check them out in our 3D Gallery.

Wow, it's been a while hasn't it? Well, fear not, everyone is still doing their own thing! I'm happy to announce one of those people doing their own thing has finished a project. David Quick, being this person, has finished yet another stunning Lokai scene. With the help of some tedious work, great effects, my funky Lokai model, and 7 hours of rendering, Im proud to bring you "Dawn's Light over a Lokai Fishing village". Check out the 3D Gallery to see this wonderful work of art!

David Quick brings us yet another stunning Atriarch scene. This one you may find commonplace in the world of Atriarch, a Tavern with Lokai Iimzodar having a bit too much as usual. ;) You can spot him in the bottom left of the scene. The rest of the Tavern is amazing as you can probably see, thanks DQ!

Phinehas has yet another picture as well. Our first Unarra model, all done without any booleaning what so ever. Those of you who know what booleaning is I'm sure are getting pretty wide eyed about now, that's just a taste of what he can do! Thanks Phinehas, great work!

Atriarch story contest winner Phinehas decided to get ahold of bryce, a popular 3D modeling program and see what he could come up with. To say the least he learns quickly, I just received this picture from him of a Lokai scene with a lake, 2 fountains, great sky and all. Go take a look in our 3D Gallery.

Yes it's been a while, but worth the wait! Today I received a stunning 3D picture from artist David Quick of the Atriarch Vault. This is a picture of some Lokai explorers building a new bigger bridge next to an existing one to improve conditions in Pliilar Clone country. Check out the 3D Gallery to see his work!

Ack! Bad timing for the meeting. I found out today the AT Survivor is officialy planned for Sunday the 11th at 5:00pm (coincidence?). So I've decided to postpone the meeting till the following Saturday which will make it the 17th. Sorry for the confusion, but I don't want anyone to miss out on AT Survivor!

After some discussion on the boards we have agreed on the first official Atriarch Player Development Team meeting. It will be held on Sunday the 11th at 5:00 PM PST (8:00 PM EST) in #APDT on Stratics IRC. There will be several topics, mainly how to organize the team, start some new projects, and finish some old ones. Come discuss ideas for the future of Atriarch, hope to see you all there! Even if your not a member of the APDT, I highly encourage you to stop by anyway and see exactly what we do.

Also, I added a few new pictures of a Lokai I made with Bryce into our 3D Gallery. Thanks to everyone in #apdt that helped me try and get the skinning right, and for suggesting to make a glass lokai (go check it out, its cool).

Well if you have been checking out the Message Boards you will have noticed Req has made an awesome 3D scene of the Lokai city Orescent. I added his picture to our ever expanding 3D Gallery, great work req! Keep it up!

ACK! Man it's been a while since our last update, I'm terribly sorry about that! To make up for it though I have 3 new sketches ready to be posted in your Sketch Gallery. Two from Scrudge of an Eshlar holding a small model of a project being worked on in the background (very creative!) and the other of a fierce Tyrusin ready for battle. We have one huge picture (about 400kb) from D'Voxien of a mountable creature known as a Billowdon. With this picture he indeed a description on just how this creature serves it's purpose on Atraina. Some great work from our two best sketchers (that we know about!), be sure to check out their work!

ALSO!!!! The moons project is starting to die and we want to change that. Last night some members got to together and started to crack down on the project. Thanks guys, we needed it. But to cut to the chase now we need possible orbit paths, ignore all factors of gravity, density, distance, speed, etc. We are making this harder then it should be and nothing is happening, check out the Boards for more info on how you can help!

2-5-2001 - 12:00 AM

As most of you probably might know World Fusion has giving us a huge project to participate in. They want us to determine a few things concerning the moons of Atriana. The path of orbit being one of the most major parts; how often will they cross paths, density, affects on each other, size, numbers that they can use to put into the game. Joss, one of our favorite WF #Atriarch visitors gave us many of the details in the #APDT channel, I have the log of what was said posted on the Message Boards. If you would like to help us out, I HIGHLY recommend reading the log first. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thank you, and lets make this something to be remembered for!

We have a brand new story for you courtesy of Toren! This is by no means an ordinary story, the way he wrote it is completely original. It is in fact a letter to the future of Atriana, for me, and of course you. In his words -

A starting point for new stories, This story involves the chronicles of an empire, and the code they followed, that eventually led them to save what they considered most important.

Check out our Writting Gallery and check out Chronicles of Quellan.

Thanks Toren!

I just received some very cool sketches from CoA's Atriarch Farside artist Scrudge. This week he brings us a sketch of a Cavolon master surrounded by some plants you sure wouldn't want feed by hand. This guy looks like he's pretty confident about his abilities, hope he likes visitors. ;) Scrudge sent us another sketch as well, we will have that up for you later this week! Check out the Sketch Gallery to view his work.

Thanks Scrudge!

The moment you have all been waiting for! We now fill the last of our empty Galleries with some work everyone has been anticipating. D'Voxien uses his sketching talent to draw us up some incredible sketches of a Cavolon habitat, looks like concept art that came out of World Fusion itself! I will be updating the page every few days with more of his work so keep checking back! Visit the Sketch Gallery to view his work.

Thanks D'Voxien!

New 3D scenes for you! We have a very cool looking Volcano submitted by Korak, who now has the largest collection of art in our 3D Gallery. I also made a scene, mine was based on a Cavolon swampland from the outskirts of the Navorians ancient city. I took 3 different screenshots from different locations around the area and wrote in a short history and description of the area. I suggest you check out the new work!

Remember, if you want to submit more then 1 picture of 1 scene or object you created that is great. I can create a custom page for your pictures and you can add anything you like, just let me know.

Chapter 9 of Memoirs of a Lokai -

We sat in silence at first, deliberating over the scene below us. Construction continued, erecting the walls and forming the shape of the city. The sun, forty five degrees over the horizon, was partially obscured by a few clouds, yet was still burning bright.

"I want you to gather as many Korathi as possible," Zepath told his aide. The young lokai rushed off to find them.

"Only Cobi is around," I told him. "Most are in the midst of some expedition or another. Feel free to talk to all of them at any time, though I know what your intents are. You want to explain to them that they're in a new faction now, and the rules are different."

Zepath laughed. He was not completely transformed from the menacing giant before, yet he had certainly put on a different mask. "Not quite, Ruhkmm. Not quite."
